4. USB
Connecting a USB storage device to the wireless router enables you to set
up an FTP server and share the USB storage device with Internet or WLAN
users. Besides, BLW-HPMM-U also supports USB print server function;
users on the network can together share the printer.
The wireless router supports read/write/erase functions for FAT or FAT32
file systems. Encrypted files are not supported. If your USB storage device
is formatted as a FAT or FAT32 file system, configure the FTP server to
work from the first partition (partition 0).
4.1 USB Info
In this section, you can view the information about the connected USB
storage device. If your USB device is a printer, then this page will NOT
show any information about the printer.
4.2 Samba Service
If you want to use USB storage device or USB printer, please set up Samba
Service first.
4.2.1 Samba Feature
Samba can be used to allow connectivity between Linux and Windows and
can be used to share printers and directories.
