1. Introduction                                                                           

1.1  Preface 

CQW-ID1000 is  a high-end Access  Point aiming at the best  performance/price ratio for 
both business and industrial applications and compliant with the latest wireless industrial 
security  standards  that  are  required  in  those  tightly  secured  enterprise  network 
environments. Its Wireless Distribution System (WDS) feature allows for flexible extension 
of wireless coverage. The dual LAN ports, which can receive Power over Ethernet (PoE) 
and back up each other by  failover function, give CQW-ID1000 reliable connectivity. Its 
metal  case  is  IP50  compliant;  that  means  CQW-ID1000  is  well  suited  to  the  WLAN 
deployment in industrial environments. This Quick Installation Guide provides instructions 
and reference material for getting started with CQW-ID1000.
