1.

 

Bring the Baltic shower chair as close to the user as possible and lock the casters.  For lateral 
transfers, raise an armrest for easier access to the seat. 

2.

 

Assist the user into the Baltic by gently placing them onto the seat.  Be sure both armrests are level 
for user safety and comfort.   

3.

 

Bring the chest safety belt around the front of the user and fasten for added security.  The casters 
can now be unlocked for transport into a shower room or designated bath area. 

Removing

1.

 

Make sure the casters are locked before assisting a user out of the Baltic shower chair. Raise one 
armrest, should you perform a lateral transfer.  Instruct the user to place their foot on the floor.  
Unbuckle the chest strap. 

2.

 

Gently assist the user out of the Baltic shower chair to the desired location.  Store the Baltic to its 
designated storage area and lock the casters during storage. 
 

Cleaning

 

Instructions

The Baltic shower chair is very durable and easy to clean.  The shower seat can be disinfected by spraying 

it with any standard non‐abrasive hospital grade hard surface disinfectant.  Gently wipe the disinfectant 
into the surface using a soft towel or cloth and let sit for 10 minutes.  Then rinse the shower seat to make 
sure all disinfectant has been removed.
