Attention!
- Protective gear should be worn.
- Not to be used in traffic.
- Maximum weight load is 100 kg
- Just as with cycling, skateboarding and inline skating, riding a scooter is never completely safe and
can lead to accidents, even when conditions are ideal.
- Falling without protective gear can lead to serious, potentially even fatal, injuries.
- Traction and visibility are impaired when it rains. Accident and injury risks are increased significantly
during wet weather conditions.
- Driving at dusk or dawn or with restricted visibility is dangerous and increases the risk of accidents
and injuries.
Safety information
- Make sure you read all the instructions in this leaflet carefully.
- The scooter should only be used from the age of 5 upwards.
- The scooter must be put together by an adult. Children must be supervised by adults during initial
setup: unfolding the scooter, adjusting the height of the handlebar as well as steering and, once
finished with the activity, folding the scooter away again.
- Making ready for use in order to avoid pinching or entrapment.
- Direct supervision by adults is essential. The scooter should be used carefully as it requires a large
amount of skill not to fall over or collide with others.
Make sure the child is standing comfortably on the properly assembled and thoroughly checked
scooter. Demonstrate how to steer to the child, until they have fully mastered the art of using the han-
dlebars and steering. Demonstrate how to safely stop the scooter. How long a child needs to master
the scooter depends on the child, as all children learn differently. Only when a child has reached a
stage where it can safely use the scooter, should it be permitted to use the scooter unassisted, albeit
not without supervision.

scooter may suddenly stop.
