- Avoid excessive speeds that may be connected with steep downward slopes.
- Do not perform any acrobatics and always use both hands. It is very important that the rider always
looks in the direction of movement and pays attention in order to be able to avoid other people and
unexpected obstacles.
- Never allow a user to place any of the parts in their mouth and avoid physical contact with moving
parts.
- The brakes may heat up with sustained use. Do not touch the brakes after they have been used.
-Note: If the axle screws are repeatedly removed, then the effectiveness of the threadlocker decreases.
Assembly Guideline
Please note: These are general assembly instructions for scooters.
Not all the illustrated components need necessarily be identical or even included.
Assembling your scooter
Important
Take your scooter out of the box and read the instruction manual before attempting assembly.
The manual provides step-by step instructions.
Store the box with all packaging and other materials until the assembly is complete.
Inspection before riding
WARNING: Check and fasten all connections before every ride. Make sure the folding mechanism is
locked in the desired position, the handlebar ends’ locking pegs are firmly positioned in the respective
holes and that the quick-release lever on the handlebar is firmly closed. When folding and unfolding,
make sure your fingers are kept well away from the scooter’s folding mechanism. Also make sure that
no other people are endangered either. Check tyres, hubs and the braking mechanism from time to
time for excessive wearing. All attachments must be checked for safety reasons.
Wheels, tyres, bearings
The wheels and bearings do not require maintenance under normal conditions and circumstances.
Nevertheless, it is the responsibility of the owner or the legal guardian of the child to ensure the
wheels are checked regularly for signs of wearing, making sure the axle is properly in place, that
the bearings are even and also to check for loose parts. If a wheel or bearing becomes a little loose,
then it is an indication of wearing and it should urgently be replaced. Replace the parts immediately
with wheels of the same type as before. Worn tyres/wheels/bearings are parts affected by normal
wear-and-tear and are not covered by the warranty. The wheels and the axle are fixed with screws
and nuts that do not loosen with everyday use. Nevertheless, for safety reasons you should check
the screw and nut connections are firm before every use. If something has come undone or come
off because of a stronger collision, please contact your vendor to check and tighten the connections.
This is necessary to ensure an optimal setup. Ball bearings require no special maintenance (except
for lubrication, see MAINTENANCE). When the bearings are worn or no longer function without
friction, then it is time to replace these.
Riding and braking
Place one foot on the base board, use the other to push off and move forwards. Do not forget to
steer. For better turns, slightly lean your body in the direction you want to turn. For controlled stop-
ping, engage the brake by stepping on the protective screen at the back. We recommend you train
braking in an open area free of obstacles before riding the scooter in other areas. Please check the
performance of the brakes after every use. The brakes may heat up with sustained use. Do not touch
the brakes after they have been used.
Maintenance
Frequent checks should be carried out in order to make sure that nuts, bolts and attachments are
tight and that no parts are worn or damaged.
- Check the snow scooter before riding, especially the quick release levers and make sure everything
is locked in position.
