To close belts, bring side buckles tabs near and join them (Fig. 12), put them in the crotch-
bar buckle well to the end (CLICK) (Fig. 13). After fixing belts, pull the adjustment strap (L)
towards you so as to snugly fit harness to the baby's body (Fig. 14). Always make sure
your child is sitting with the body close to car-seat and with crotch-bar correctly placed.
CORRECT BELT POSITION
Pay attention to the position of seat belts; make sure they are in the correct position and
close to the body.
Belts should not be placed too high or too low compared to your child (Fig. 15).
BELTS POSITIONS REGULATION
In case you need to adjust the belts position to fit your child's height, loosen harness as
much as possible (Fig. 7), go on back side of car-seat (Fig. 16), take the shoulder pads
out of connector (O) (Fig. 17), bring right belt and pull it out from the metal bracket (Q)
(Fig. 18); make same operations for the left belt (Fig. 19).
Pull belts and pads out from fabric loops of the seat and insert them into the appropriate
position to your child's height (Fig. 20). Insert again shoulder pads straps into its
connector (Fig. 21), then belts into metal bracket (Fig. 22 and 23). Pull, and tighten car-
seat belts (Fig. 14) taking care that they are not jammed or twisted.
ADAPTOR PILLOW
"DAITONA" is equipped with an adaptor pillow (D) to use when your baby is small. When
baby grows it's recommended to remove it.
To remove it, loosen belts (Fig. 7), release them by separating the buckles (Fig. 8, 9 and
10), take off the belts (Fig. 17, 18, 19) and the crotch pad. Now you can remove the
adaptor pillow (Fig. 25). Insert again crotch pad and belts in the buckle (Fig. 20 to 23).
USE FOR GROUP 1 (from 9 to 18 Kg)
For any use of car-seat you'll make (Group 1, 2 or 3), it must always be fixed in front-
facing direction and NEVER in the opposite direction (Fig. 26)!
If the car has the position of belts adjustable, place it at the lowest point.
For "Group 1" configuration, suitable for children with weigh from 9 to 18 Kg, the restraint
system (belts) to be used is the one supplied on car-seat (Fig. 27), with or without the
adaptor pillow. Remember to adjust the height of the belts according to the height of the
child.
