the nominal spray pattern in that direction should be reduced from a 90 degree quarter circle, to a 45
degree arc pointing away from the wall:

be assumed to be only 90° due to potential obstructions either side of the spray head.

If the reduced spray pattern leads to a large shadow area, additional spray head(s) may need to be used in
order to complete the room coverage.
