SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The compressor must not be used to pump gases
other than air or liquids .
• Keep the air outlet valve away from the face, eyes and
ears and more generally from all parts of the body .
Compressed air puts you at risk of injury . Never suck
in air from the compressor or any device connected to
the compressor .
• Do not cover the air intake openings . The device may
overheat and be damaged .
• Use the device only as directed in this manual . Using
accessories or parts other than that indicated in this
manual or improper use of the device may cause
injury or damage .
• If you are inflating a car, motorcycle or any other
vehicle, the pressure should then be checked with an
EC measuring device .
• The device is not designed for commercial use (rental
for example) .
• Warning ! Do not overinflate your inflatable products .
Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for
inflating . Too much pressure can cause an explosion
and injure people .
• Do not store the compressor in a place exposed to
direct sunlight . The ideal temperature for the storage
location is between 10° C and 20° C .
• Vibrations can cause displacement of the compressor .
Do not use it on a high surface . It can only be used
propped, carried or placed on the ground and in an
upright position .
• Never transport the compressor by the hose .
• The recommended operating time must not exceed 30
min . If the compressor becomes too hot, allow it to sit
for 30 minutes before resuming use or putting it away .
• The manufacturer declines all responsibility in the
event of material damage or damage (physical or
moral) due to improper use and / or non-compliance
with the safety instructions and with the safety and use
instructions of the equipment connected to the R180 .
SAFETY RULES: BATTERY
• Do not allow the built-in battery to heat above 60 ° C
and do not throw it into a fire: risk of explosion, fire
and fire!
• The battery works to the best of its capacity in a
normal atmosphere, b 15 ° C and + 25 ° C .
• Do not short-circuit the built-in battery .
• Never try to open the battery .
• Stay close to the battery while charging and check
the temperature of the device regularly . Interrupt the
charging process immediately in the event of severe
overheating . A battery that heats up strongly or
deforms during charging is defective . You should not
continue to use it .
• Do not expose the built-in battery to mechanical
stress . Avoid dropping, knocking, bending or cutting
the battery .
• Be careful never to completely discharge the battery;
this shortens its lifespan .
• If you do not intend to use the device for a long period
of time, we recommend that you leave the battery
charged .
• Recharge the compressor after each use and at least
every 3 months using the 100-240 V AC / 12 V DC
charger .
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• The battery charger is double insulated
No ground wire is required .
• Use only the charger supplied with the device .
• Use a highly sensitive protection device (30 mA) to
improve electrical safety .
• Check that the voltage supplied to the electrical
network corresponds to the voltage indicated on the
rating plate of the charger .
• The charger is fitted with 2 types of sockets which can
be interchanged . Use the socket corresponding to the
type of socket in the country you are in .
• If you use the compressor from the 12 V DC cigarette
lighter socket of a vehicle, make sure that the
electrical circuit is protected correctly and that the
voltage supplied is 12 V DC .
RESIDUAL RISKS
Using the compressor with accessories or for purposes
not mentioned in this manual and in the safety
instructions may result in additional residual risks .
These risks can arise if the compressor or the tool are
misused, if the use is prolonged, if it takes place in an
atmosphere or in the presence of dangerous particles .
Despite the application of safety standards, the following
residual risks cannot be avoided:
• Injury due to contact with moving or rotating parts
• Injury caused by changing parts, blades or accessories
• Prolonged use without regular breaks .
• Hearing impairment, ocular impairment
• Health risks caused by inhaling toxic or dangerous
dust or substances while using the tool (eg spraying)
STORAGE
R180 must be stored vertically, in a ventilated place
whose temperature does not exceed -5 ° to + 30 ° C .
The main switch
2
must be OFF . The battery must be
charged and checked every 3 months .
