VIII. Maintenance
Setting up the stands in indoor arena
–
when the stands are fully assembled and their positions are set, the stand
bases are to be anchored to the ground with mounting holes. A way of anchoring the bases should be consulted
with the surface contractor of the jumping facility.
Setting up the stands in the open air
–
the stands are to be installed only for athletics competitions, when the
competition ends, the stands must be obligatory disassembled and stored in a dry roofed room with minimal
temperature of 5
°
C and maximal humidity of 80%.
The base wheels should be only used to transport stands on level surfaces and within short distances.
You should unscrew the posts from the bases and secure the base trolleys with safety bars to transport the stands
for long distances.
IX. Emergency manual backup
In case of emergency (power loss, failure or damage of electric/electronic parts) the uprights are equipped with a
manual backup feature. Please follow the below steps to install the backup crank:

Shut down the power and disconnect all the
cables first.
2.
The backup crank is fastened to the upright foot.
3.
Unscrew the butterfly nut.
