IV. Assembly
It is done in 4 easy steps:
1
place the PVC master covering on the surface
where the landing area is to be situated,
2
then put the first foam unit onto the covering,
3
next put the other unit onto the covering, so
that it overlaps the first one,
4
then cover the units and zip the master
covering. The landing area is ready for use.
V. Operating
Stepping on the landing area and practising require special footwear designed for those purposes. Treading on the
landing area in footwear with spikes is only allowed when the landing area is equipped with special spike resistant
surface. Stepping on the landing areas in hard footwear or in shoes with heels is strongly prohibited. You must not
put any tables, chairs, benches or any other objects whose unit pressure exceeds 1kg/1cm
2
on the landing area.
Please note that the foam units are not designed to be taken from the PVC master covering. Since the units have not
got their own coverings, the foam is vulnerable to damages when you remove the units from the PVC master
covering. Therefore if you are forced to remove them from the master covering, please do that carefully and store
the units in their transport plastic bags.
VI. Maintenance
Due to the hygiene requirements it is recommended that the landing area should be cleaned regularly with
commonly available detergents. Before you start wiping the landing area, please try to clean a small spot on its
bottom side in order to check the reaction with the PVC fabric.
VII. Storing
The landing area can be stored only in a horizontal position. It cannot be bent or pressed by any objects during
storing. That may deform it permanently. A storing facility should be clean and dry. It ought to provide min.
temperature 5 ºC.
