Description . This job will create a file of patient records. The aim is to
establish that the content of the source system being reconciled
is represented on the NSTS.
Once processing has completed this data can be written to DAT
tape by entering a value in 'Device Number'.

Understanding Screen 1
Surname Ranges
Either enter a range of patient surnames, or leave these fields blank to process data for
all patient surnames on the database.
The surname in the first of these fields must be a patient surname found on the
database. The second surname must contain only characters A-Z, hyphens, spaces
and/or apostrophes, and must come after the first surname alphabetically.
Date of Birth Ranges
Either enter a range of dates of birth, in the format DD.MM.YYYY, or leave these
fields blank to process data for all patient dates of birth on the database.
Date of Accp. Ranges
Either enter a range of acceptance dates, in the format DD.MM.YYYY, or leave these
fields blank to process data for all patient acceptance dates on the database.
Outcode Ranges
Postcode Ranges
Either enter a range of outcodes/postcodes or leave these fields blank to process data
for all patient outcodes/postcodes on the database. The outcode/postcode in the first
of these fields must be a patient outcode/postcode found on the database.
Either an outcode range or a postcode range (or neither) can be entered. You cannot
enter both outcodes and postcodes.
GP Code Ranges
Either enter a ranges of GP codes (e.g. 000001 – 000020) or leave these fields blank
to process data for patients of all GPs on the database.
If a dummy GP code is entered, it can only be either ZZZ001 or ZZZ002.
