AJ-DSPR
Input file/GP Code
or
Practice Code
An entry in one of these fields is mandatory.
Enter either:
•
An input file (path plus filename, e.g.
/directory/filename
) of NHS numbers.
The first record in the file must be a header record containing just the text
NHS NUMBER
(the case is irrelevant). Each subsequent record must just
contain an NHS number. This input file could, for instance, be created from a
spreadsheet, and should be a simple text file.
•
A local GP or a practice code.
Address Code(s)
This is an optional field.
Enter up to four different valid address codes known on the Address Code Table (AT)
screen. This will restrict processing to patients who also have these address codes.
Postcode(s)
This is an optional field.
Enter up to 30 different valid postcodes. This will restrict processing to patients who
also have these postcodes.
NOTES
If the Address Code and Postcode fields are left blank the job will process
all patients for the selected file/GP/practice.
Email summary to
This is a mandatory field.
Enter an email address to which an email giving the name of the file produced by the
run may be sent. This field will default to the email address of the current user as
defined on the UA screen within the Security System.
UNIX path for download files
This is a mandatory field.
Enter a UNIX path for the destination of the report file. A default path, as defined on
the SP-S screen, will be displayed.
Enter ‘Y’ to put the job in the queue for processing
On successful update of the screen an entry will be created on the AJ-Q screen ready
for scheduling.
Once the job has been successfully scheduled and completed on the AJ-Q an email
will be sent to the address entered on the request screen. The email will contain details
of the selection criteria used and the number of patients identified with a dispensing
marker matching that selection criteria.
If an ‘information and update’ run was requested the email may also contain the
number of patients that have failed to have their dispensing marker removed
successfully. This may occur if the patient record was being updated by another
application at the time AJ-DSPR was running.
