Adjustments
Wheel Installation
1. With the transmission in gear and
the parking brake locked, place the
wheel on the wheel hub. Be sure
the valve stem is toward the outside
and the rotation arrows on the tire
point toward forward rotation.
2. Attach the wheel nuts and finger
tighten them.
NOTE:
Make sure
the tapered end of the rear wheel nut
goes into the taper on the wheel (1).
3. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
4. Torque the wheel nuts to 20 ft. lbs. (27 Nm).
Front Wheel Hub Tightening
Front wheel bearing tightness and spindle nut retention are critical
component operations. All service must be performed by your
authorized Polaris dealer.
