Mounting and connection
Read the information in the "Preparation for mounting" section.
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are damaged when
drilling mounting holes or securing screws.
• Unscrew the two side screws using a Phillips
screwdriver, and then pull the wall mount out of the
housing.
• Make sure that the mains supply is switched off.
• Use the wall mount as a template to mark the fixing
points on the surface. Pay attention to the orientation
of the light housing.
• Drill two holes for the dowels into the mounting
surface. (If you are using a wooden surface, you can
screw the base directly to the surface without using
dowels. However, you should still drill holes even
when using wood. The dowels are not required in
this case.)
• Insert the dowels into the drilled holes.
• Pierce the cable hole with a round, pointed object.
• Guide the mains cable through the hole.
• Secure the wall mount to the surface using the
screws provided.
10 mm
6 mm
• Remove the outer insulation on the wires to a
maximum length of about 16 mm (if necessary). Strip
the insulation on each of the three wires on the mains
cable to a length of about 6 mm (no more than 8
mm). The earth cable (yellow-green cable) should be
at least 6 mm longer so that it remains the last cable
in the screw terminal in the event of a fault.
• The neutral wire should be connected to "N", the live
wire (phase) to "L", and the protective earth to the
clamping point with the " " symbol.
• Position the light with the side screws in the correct
orientation on the wall mount.
• Turn on the power supply to the light. The light is now
ready to use.
We recommend that you install a switch to turn the light on and off. If you wish to
connect a plug (not included) to the mains cable, ensure that there is an extension
cable or a mains socket available near to where the light is mounted. These
components are not included with the product.
Operation
• To turn on the light, turn on the power supply corresponding to your setup method, e.g. turn
on the switch, insert the mains plug or activate the connected switching device (infra-red
sensor switch). (These components are not included with the product.)
L = brown
N = blue
= green / yellow
Care and cleaning
• Before cleaning the light, turn off the mains voltage (or disconnect it from the mains) and let
it cool down sufficiently.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could
damage the casing or cause the light to malfunction.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
• Never point a garden hose or pressure washer at the product (e.g. for cleaning).
• Do not wear metallic or conductive jewellery such as necklaces, bracelets or rings when
carrying out maintenance work on the product (including cleaning).
Maintenance
• The LED bulbs are not replaceable.
• Replace the transparent protective cover if there are any signs of damage.
• All other maintenance or repair work should be done by a technician. Repairs must only be
carried out using original replacement parts.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in household
waste. Always dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
