11. F.A.Q.
I can’t find alignment
o
Check no obstacles are placed between TX and RX and site
conformation not gives itself an obstacle to installation;
o
Check arrival supply tension to terminal block;
o
Use a screened cable to supply barriers, connecting screen to
GND on terminal block(it is suggested, if problem is not
solved, to use two different screened cables, one to supply
and one for alarm/tamper output);
o
Check correct dimension of cable used to supply barriers
o
Make sure that no other external lights are interesting RX
side, during function TEST (gate photocell, any other barrier,
infrared lights, exc…).
o
It is possible to increase barrier screening, connecting to
GND a cable coming from the screw that link sensor base to
metallic bracket;
After best signal achieved
(LEDs are fixed and buzzer

are no presence of water or insects;

Check the precision of alignment and in case remake
alignment TEST, making sure that no other external lights
are interesting RX side (gate photocell, any other barrier,
infrared lights, exc…);

To obtain a more precise alignment position a side of ales IR
plastic cover in front of the lenses, during the alignment test,
to have a double attenuation of beam;
o
For long range protection is suggested the use of thermostat
warranting an enough supply to it.
