How to perform the Self Clean limescale
cleaning cycle:
10.1 Unplug the power supply cord from the
electric socket.
10.2 Set the steam adjustment to the zero po-
sition (=steam OFF)

10.3 Fill the water tank as described in Chap-
ter 1.
10.4 Plug the power supply cord into the elec-
tric socket.
10.5 Turn on the appliance, setting the tem-
perature to the MAX level.
10.6 Wait for the iron temperature light to
turn on/off twice.
10.7 Then unplug the power supply cord from
the electric socket again.
10.8 Hold the device horizontally around 15
cm from a receptacle/bowl and hold down
the Self Clean button to begin the cleaning
cycle (10-11). Shake the iron lightly to better
empty the tank.
10.9 When the tank is empty, release the Self
Clean button.
10.10 Plug the power supply cord into the
electric socket.
10.11 Turn on the appliance, setting the tem-
perature to the MAX level.
10.12 When the iron is ready (the light stays
on), lightly shake it over a cloth, so as to re-
move any water drops which may still be on
the plate.
10.13 Turn off the appliance and unplug it
from the electric socket.
10.14 Wait until it has fully cooled before
putting it away.
11. GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Except when running the Self Clean cycle, al-
ways unplug the appliance from the power
mains before conducting any maintenance
upon it, making sure that the product has
cooled down before proceeding.
To clean the outside of the appliance, use
only a damp cloth.
Do not use detergents of any type.
Clean the iron soleplate when it is completely
cold with a damp cloth or with a non-abrasive
sponge.
12. STORAGE
12.1 Turn off the appliance and unplug it from
the mains electricity.
12.2 Empty the water tank, turning the
appliance
upside
down
over
a
receptacle/bowl (12).
12.3 Wait for the appliance to cool down
completely before storing it.
