Should the password or the username be lost or forgotten, a general factory reset can be done by pressing the
Reset button or via “System menu
Restore defaults”. The device reverts to the basic access data and basic
settings. Even individualized basic settings (except the Ethernet access data) are lost.
6.2 Home page of the device
After log-in, the device homepage will display the main information about the device and its status. File tabs for
programming the HDI 2 multi are available at the top of the window.

The table displays the device type, current selected modulation type, serial number, installed software version,
hardware version, time, country and operating hours.

“ shows the current input bitrate of the IP source.
Ensure that the maximum bit rate of 80 Mbit/s is not exceeded. Otherwise the control connection of the device will
not be accessible.

“ table displays the current output bit rate and the maximum bit rate allowed for the selected
modulation and per output channel. If the value is exceeded, a bit rate overflow will occur and the TV screen will
show pixel effects on the display.
