3 – CUTTING THE DIMENSION LINES
The length of the skin fitted with its attachment system must be perfectly adapted to
the length of the ski, then you can cut it out. If not, please adapt the length of the skin
to the ski beforehand. In order to determine the right size for your skins according
to your ski, use our “Find Your Skin” tool accessible at the following address: www.
pomoca.com/find-your-skin
1. Remove the protective liner and throw it
in the plastic bin. The protective liner is
supplied with the POMOCA skins in order
to protect the membrane and the layer
of glue from any residue and dust during
transport to your home. Once removed,
the liner is no longer of any use.
2. Place the skin carefully on the ski, ensur-
ing that it is perfectly in line with the ski.
Check that the parts of the skin protrud-
ing on either side of the ski are symmetri-
cal. If you have a metal hook at the back,
check that the hook is perfectly centered
on the heel. If you have a Back Fix system
and you have installed it correctly, it will
be placed 4-5 cm from the skin. Check
that the hook is perfectly centered on the
heel.
3. Place the ski on a stable surface, if pos-
sible on a specialized system. Using the
cutter, start at the tip of the ski, cut the
width of the skin protruding over the edge
of the ski opposite you.
4. Turn the ski so that the second side of the
skin to be cut is opposite you.
5. Cut the 2nd side of the skin as described
in point 3.
If the operation has been performed correct-
ly, the bottom of the ski is covered and the
two edges are visible.
