Automatic boiler for wood pellets
Instructions for installation and operation
50
Description of operation:
Boiler with automatic ignition:
The whole automatic ignition routine will take place in the following programme steps after the boiler gets started
(manual START Menu 10, with the room thermostat of the boiler, commend via the GSM port):
-
Filling the burner with fuel.
-
Heating the electric coils and ignition of fuel.
- Catching
fire.
The automatic ignition routine is expanded with an interval lasting 3 minutes during which the boiler heats at the
defined power output level.
Having this interval been finished, the boiler gets to the mode
AUTO, AUTOx
or
BOILER.
The control unit is evaluating at this moment whether the temperature of the combustion products is higher by the
∆
t
value which has been determined as the difference between the temperature of the combustion products and that of the
boiler water.
This value is adjusted to 10
o
C by the manufacturer.
The
∆
t value is also evaluated always when the boiler gets from the
STANDBY
mode to the modes of
AUTO, AUTOx
or
BOILER.
If the temperature of the combustion products is higher than the adjusted
∆
t value, the boiler resumes its operation. If
the temperature value is lower than the
∆
t value, the unit will perform another attempt on ignition in the following
programme steps:
-
Heating of electric coils and ignition of fuel.
- Catching
fire.
Interval lasting 3 minutes during which the boiler heats at the defined power output level.
The temperature of the combustion products is evaluated again.
If the temperature of the combustion products is higher than the adjusted
∆
t value, the boiler resumes its operation.
If the temperature value is lower than the
∆
t value, the boiler will get to the state
STOP-ignite fail
.
Boiler without automatic ignition:
The
∆
t value is always evaluated after the boiler gets to the mode of
AUTO, AUTOx
or
BOILER
from the
STANDBY
mode at the pre-programmed moment in time.
No evaluation takes place under the
AUTO
mode! Fuel is being added in order to maintain the burning core.
If the temperature of the combustion products is higher by the adjusted
∆
t value, the boiler resumes its operation, if
the temperature value is lower, the boiler will get to the state
STOP-ignite fail
.
SW modification:
The software package modification concerning the control of combustion products includes 2 changes:
In the menu
12.MANUFACTURER
12.5. Ele. light up
1) The following menu has been added
12.5.5. Superv.temp
Stemp. [ºC] 10 10
The
∆
t will be adjusted
2) The following menu has been added
12.5.6. Temp.check
Check T[min] 7 7
The time lag is adjusted after which the temperature of the combustion products is measured and evaluated. The time
lag is understood as a time interval from the moment when the
STANDBY
mode is finished and the mode
AUTO,
AUTOx
or
BOILER
is entered.
Display of the combustion products temperature:
Depress the
ESC
←
pushbutton to display the momentary temperature of the combustion products on the display unit
which displays the temperature of the output boiler water.
Measurement of the temperature of combustion products is indicated by blinking decimal points.
Depress the
ESC
←
pushbutton again to return back to the water measurement temperature.
Note:
Temperature measurement of combustion products is only in operation , if the reference
temperature value is adjusted to >0.
