Persons who are not familiar with the operating instructions must not use the pump!
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or mental
capacity restrictions or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have obtained training on how to use the appliance.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Design characteristics
● This high capacity pump is efficient, modern and is equipped with a 6-pole, 3-phase brushless
permanent magnet motor for high efficiency and long life with a substantial starting torque as well
as constant and quiet operation. Safe low voltage 12 V.
● The rotor is equipped with a high quality ceramic shaft and a highly scratch resistant shaft sleeve.
● Single chip microcomputer control with several security features, such as: protection against dry
running, overheating, overloading, etc.
● Submersible pump with a fully resin moulded motor (IP68).
● External controller with push-button controls and digital display, suitable for capacity control, with a
wattage consumption read out. Placing: capped.
Application
These pumps are suitable for pumping water for fountains, filtration plants, streams, waterfalls,
swimming ponds, etc. They provide aeration and circulation.
Safety instructions
● Caution! The pump may only be used if the existing electrical installation satisfies the legal
standards. In case of doubt, please consult a professional installer.
● The pump must be connected to an installation with an earth leakage circuit breaker (30mA) and a
socket outlet with earth connection.
● The mains voltage and type of current must match the data on the nameplate or in the table on
page 2.
● Socket outlets should be installed in a dry place, at least 2 feet away from the edge of the water.
(See Figure 1.)
● Before starting the pump, first check the power cord, the transfo, the plug and the control cabinet
for damage.
● Important! do not use the motor or the pump if the mains cable or the motor casing is damaged. No
repairs are possible because the cable is permanently moulded into the motor and can therefore
not be replaced.
● Never move or hang the pump by the power cord.
● Keep the plug free of moisture. Make a loop in the cable to prevent water running to the plug over
the cable. (See Figure 4.)
● Always interrupt the power to the pump by removing the plug from the socket before working on the
pump.
● Only use the pump if there is sufficient water supply to the pump.
● The pump may only be used for pumping water at a maximum temperature of 35°C.
