08 Troubleshooting
PROBLEM

Cleaner will not sink.
- Immersion of cleaner into the pool.
- Water level in the pool.
- Before turning the cleaner on, wait until it reaches the bottom of the pool.
- If the water level in the pool is too high, the robot may turn over and take in some
air. In this case, modify the water level in the pool.
Cleaner does not clean all
areas of the pool.
- Excess / lack of cable in the pool.
Make sure that the length of the floating cable in the pool does not exceed the
required length.
- Remove all extra cable from the pool and keep it next to the power supply.
- Position the cleaner in the middle of the pool. If your pool is oval or rectangular, the
centre of the longer side is the centre of the pool.
Cleaner does not collect
debris. The impeller throws
back small particles, such as
dust or dirt, pollen, etc.
- The cleaner does not have sufficient power.
- The basket is full / clogged.
- A foreign object is stuck in the impeller or
the grid above the impeller.
- Dirt is too fine, the cleaner is able to
capture particles larger than 50 microns.
- Check the cable connections.
- Clean the basket and filter surface.
- Check whether the basket has been inserted properly. (See section Cleaning the
Filter Basket)
- Check that no foreign objects are stuck in the impeller or the grid above the
impeller.
- Check the proper insertion of the basket and press down, if necessary.
- Be aware that your pool filtration ensures the cleaning of particles smaller than 50
microns.
Cleaner moves in one
direction only.
- The rollers or wheels of the cleaner are
blocked by an object, or an object affects the
cleaner’s movement.
- Check that no foreign objects are stuck in the impeller above the motor.
- Check that no foreign object are obstructing the hydraulic circuit, brushes, or belts
on the cleaner’s bottom and sides.
Cleaner does not move and
the filter pump also does not
work. Cleaner does not work.
- The cleaner is not connected to the power
source.
- It is switched off.
- Check that the power supply is activated by connecting another device to the
electrical outlet.
- Check whether the power is switched on.
- Check all the cleaner’s connections to the power source.
Pump works, but the cleaner
is not moving. Cleaner
switches on, but does not
move.
- No / insufficient power supply to the
cleaner.
- An object is blocking the rollers, belts,
wheels or the cleaner’s path.
- Possible motor failure.
- Unplug the power supply and remove the cleaner from the water. - Open the
basket cover and remove the basket.
- Check that no foreign objects are stuck in the impeller above the motor.
- Check that no foreign objects are obstructing the hydraulic circuit, brushes, or belts
on the cleaner’s bottom and sides.
