2.7. TEST RUN
After the installation, check if the bathtub is clean. Then, fill it with water of (40 ± 5) °C up to a level above the
top jet to ensure the system operation. Next, turn the system on and keep it operating for at least 10 minutes.
In case the bathtub is equipped with a two-speed pump (see the bathtub specification), remember to activate
both first and second speed mode at least once during the test run.
Without emptying the bathtub, turn the massage system off. After minimum 10 minutes, check all the
connections, pipes and fittings for leakage.
It is recommended to repeat the above procedure after each adjustment aimed at ensuring integrity of the
installation, or after the replacement of a device or bathtub component.
2.8. SERVICE VALVE
In Laguna spa there are
four
gate valves, which shut off the water supply to
the pump and heater. If valves are closed, they provide overhaul, repair or
even replacement of equipment in a spa filled with water.
Before first use of spa, please check whether all valves are open.
2.9. MAINTENANCE OF ACRYLIC ELEMENTS
Only mild fluids (not containing acetone, abrasive or caustic
substances) should be used to clean the bath. The structure and low
level of surface adhesion of acrylic mean that keeping the bath clean
should not be a problem.
Mechanically damaged gloss acrylic (small, shallow scratches) can be
easily repaired. In the case of small scratches, a small amount of wax-
free car-polish should be used. Deeper scratches may be removed by
sandpaper in order of grain 800, 1200, 2000 followed by the car-polish
mentioned earlier. In order for the surface to be smooth it should be
ground in a circular motion, followed by a wax car polish (which
provides a high level of shine). Repairs can be made with a repair kit
available at the dealer shops;
however we recommend using the
services of our authorized POOL-SPA service staff.
