FOREWORD
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The Porter-Cable Model 6626 Impact Wrench is designed to tighten or
loosen bolts and nuts with up to 265 foot pounds of torque. It comes
equipped with a 1/2" square detente pin-style anvil for attaching 1/2" square
drive impact sockets.
NOTE:
This tool is shipped completely assembled. No assembly time or
tools are required.
ASSEMBLY
OPERATION
1.
To start the machine in a
clockwise rotation
, depress the
bottom of the trigger switch (A)

To start the machine in a counter-
clockwise rotation, depress the
top of the trigger switch (B) Fig. 1.
NOTE:
Let the motor stop before reversing the direction of rotation to
prevent motor damage.
2.
To stop the machine, release the trigger switch.
Confirm that the switch is
"OFF"
and the power circuit
voltage is the same as the voltage shown on the
specification plate. Connect the machine to a power circuit.
Grip the machine firmly to resist starting torque.
