CUSTOMER DISPLAY
In the following sections, it is assumed that before any command / data given
to the customer display, the PST system should have been previously prepared for
issuing command to the customer display unit through the following command given
under DOS environment:
C:\> mode com1 96,n,8,1

In other words, the protocols in RS-232C communication are listed below:

As for the data displayed, please refer to the appendix of this manual. The 5 x
7 fonts used in PD-2101 page 0, PD-2101 page 1, PD-2101 EPSON emulation page 0
and PD-2101 EPSON emulation page 1 describe PD2101. The 8 x 16 fonts used in
PD-7001 page 0, PD-7001 page 1 and international character sets describe PD7001.
However, the simplified Chinese characters in PD7011 and the traditional Chinese
characters in PD7021 are not listed.
The hardware handshaking signal of the customer display is defaulted to use
CTS signal. For PST6000 series of system version C introduced in 2
nd
quarter of 1998
onward, this handshaking signal is selectable between CTS and DSR through change
of jumper setting according to the description in hardware details.
