Adding redundancy
A second Chassis and Power Supply can be added to the system to provide a
redundant power source. With this system, if one of the Power Supply were to fail,
the second Power Supply would take over the load without power interruption.
The failing Power Supply would trigger an alarm through its alarm contacts (if
used) to let the user know the system needs maintenance.
For such a system, the redundant Chassis would be connected to the Main
Chassis as shown in Figure 6 on page 28 and Figure 7 on page 29.
