10. Raise the seat up by placing your hand between the underside of the seat material
and the bar below the seat, locate the ‘seat release’ which is a black rubberised cable
positioned behind the foot rest and pull this upwards (see Fig I). This will release the
side locking pins. Now raise the seat up fully.
11. To secure the seat closed, fasten the chest straps around the seat front and under the
side handles. Adjust length of straps as required to keep seat in place.
12. Position the cover neatly onto chair.
13. Enter details of use and any other function issues of the chair onto the report form at
the end of this booklet and advise your site / health and safety manager accordingly.
