The blower can throw objects violently. You can be blinded
or injured. Always wear hearing protection, respirator or
mask, and safety glasses marked Z87. Always wear heavy,
long pants, long sleeves, boots and gloves.
Hazard zone for thrown objects. Keep children, bystanders, and animals
away from work area a minimum of 15 meters (50 feet) when starting or
operating unit. Do not point blower nozzle in the direction of people or pets.
Outside the 15 meters (50 feet) zone, there is still a risk of injury from thrown
objects. Bystanders should be encouraged to wear eye protection. If you are
approached, stop the engine.
Secure hair above shoulder length. Do not wear jewelry, loose clothing, or
clothing with loose hanging straps, ties, tassels, etc. They can be caught in
moving parts.
