2) Removing the Circuit Breaker from the
Test/Disconnected Position out of the Circuit
Breaker Compartment
Prior to removing the circuit breaker from the
circuit breaker compartment, make sure that
the control circuits are deenergized.

CAUTION
Prior to removing the circuit breaker from the
circuit breaker compartment, make sure the
circuit breaker is in the open position and all
springs are discharged.

CAUTION
a. Open the circuit breaker compartment
door.
b. Push the secondary disconnect latch
to the left. This will
unlock the secondary disconnect plug,
allowing it to be removed. Remove the
secondary disconnect plug.
Removal of the secondary disconnect plug will
trip a closed breaker and discharge the main
closing spring.

CAUTION
c. Press the anti-rollout latch
to release the circuit breaker
and pull the circuit breaker out of the
circuit breaker compartment using the
handles.
3) Emergency Racking Out Procedure
To perform this action the circuit breaker
compartment door must be open. If the
equipment is energized at this time, the
operator is exposed to potentially lethal
conditions. The operator must wear the
appropriate PPE for the level of flash hazard
exposure indicated by the short circuit rating
of the equipment if working on energized
equipment.

WARNING
In the event of an emergency, such as loss
of control power, the ARM circuit breaker
is equipped with an emergency racking
mechanism which enables racking the circuit
breaker into or out of the connected position.
NOTICE
The following emergency racking
procedure is intended to be used only in
the event of loss of control power, or failure
of the Sentry remote controller, or circuit
breaker to operate electrically.
