Installing the Motor Cutoff Switch
Assembly onto the Circuit Breaker
a. 1⁄4 - 20 Star Nut (2)
b. 1⁄4 - 20 x 3⁄4” Hex Head Bolt (2)
c. 1⁄4 - 20 flat washers (2)

d. Replace the two (2)
1⁄4 - 20 flat washers
(Figure 6, c) to each hex head bolt on
top of base pan and tighten in place
using the two (2) 1⁄4 - 20 star nuts
(Figure 6, a) and torque the two hex
head bolts to 5-7 ft-lbs.
e. Reconnect the wires to the new motor
cutoff switch (Figure 7) and tie wrap
the wire harness to the wires from the
motor cutoff switch (Figure 8). No
adjustments are required.

b. Operate the circuit breaker electrically
several times to ensure the switch
functions properly.
c. Replace the front cover.
