Keep cable well clear of working area.
Always use a face mask if excessive amounts of dust
are generated or sanding harmful materials.
Always wear safety glasses, especially when working
at eye height.
Do not lie the sander on its side before it has
completely stopped.
Fitting sanding disc
Disconnect the sander from the mains.
Select sandpaper with the appropriate grain size
for the task.
Position disc (5) with holes aligned with those on
sole.
Press disc onto Velcro surface and check it is secure.
Use
Check that the dust bag (7) is correctly fitted on
nozzle (6) and that the correct type of sandpaper
is being used.
Hold the sander with one hand on the handle and
the other on the support handle (1). Switch on by
pressing the on/off button (3).
Apply sander to the item. The sanding disc works
in small circular movements.

Note! Be careful when applying disc to item!
If disc is applied unevenly i can cut the item
surface. Ensure entire disc surfaces comes in
contact with the item at the same time.
For continuous use over extended periods, the
on/off button can be held down by pressing the
lock button (4) in at the same time the on/off
button is depressed. The lock button can be
released by pressing the on/off button in as far
as it will go.
Give the sander time to work. It is rarely necessary
to press the disc hard against the surface to be
worked.

Start with coarse sandpaper and switch to finer
paper if/when required. If a very smooth surface
is required, clean the item thoroughly with a soft
cloth after the final sanding. Switch to very fine
sandpaper and give the item one extra sanding.
Avoid blocking the ventilation slots (2) with your
hand, as this may cause the sander to overheat.
Switch off by releasing the on/off button.
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe using a well-wrung cloth after use, and
always keep the surface and ventilation holes free
of dirt.
Always ensure the extraction holes on the sanding
pad are kept clean. Empty the dust bag when
required and never let it become over-full.
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents,
as they may attack the plastic parts.
If the motor generates an excessive amount of
sparks, check and if necessary replace the carbon
brushes.
