Special safety directions
Only use and store the charger and battery
at room temperature (max. 40 °C).
Never use the charger if the battery, charger
or cable is damaged.
Check that the vent holes on the motor are
not covered.
Do not use damaged or worn bits and
always select the correct type of bit for the
job.
Secure small items in a vice or similar. Never
hold the item in your hand!
Check for concealed power cables, pipes
etc in the items or surfaces you are going
to drill.
Place a piece of scrap wood under the item
if possible. Make sure that the drill does not
damage any objects under or behind the
item, e.g. when drilling in walls.
The drill must not be in contact with
anything when it is started.
Drilling certain substances can produce
harmful dust. Always wear a mask.
Ensure the drill is completely stopped
before changing direction.
Avoid touching the drill bit after use. It may
be very hot.
Charging and fi tting the battery
Charge the battery fully before using the
drill for the fi rst time.
Press in the battery lock (9) on the battery
(10) and remove the battery. Fit charger
(11) on battery, and plug adapter (12) into
a mains socket. The battery is charging.
Unplug adapter and remove charger from
battery after charging. Insert the battery
pack in the drill. Check that the battery lock
clicks into place.
Note
! The battery is not fully charged when
delivered. It must be charged fully prior to
use.
The battery cannot reach full capacity until
it has been fully charged and discharged
about 5 times.
Preparation
Selecting direction
Select direction (left (L) or right (R)) using
the direction selector switch (5).
If the switch is in the middle, the machine
will not start.
Only change the drill direction when the
chuck is not moving!
Selecting torque
Select torque by turning the torque selector
(2) to the required position. The higher the
setting, the higher the torque applied.
Selecting gear (model 69294 only)
Only change the gear when the chuck is not
moving. Push the gear selector (3) to the
required position.
