Operation
1. Unscrew and remove the cover assembly from the
canister (#B-02) as shown in figure 4.
2. Prepare the paint or coating as per the
manufacturer’s instructions for air spray guns.
3. Fill the canister to the 3/4 full mark as shown in
figure 5. Do NOT overfill!
4. Lower and replace the cover assembly onto the
canister.
5. Set the compressor’s pressure regulator to
the lowest setting recommended by the paint
or coating manufacturer.
6. Connect the regulator’s air connection (#A-
02) to the air compressor’s hose. If leaking is
detected, disconnect the air hose and repair
before use.
Caution:
• When the canister contains fluid, always keep the paint spray gun
upright. This will prevent paint from contaminating potions of the gun
in which it is not intended to go.
• Always keep the cover (#B-04) tight when connected to the air source.
Spraying Techniques
For must uses, such as painting walls, benches or vehicles, the best results
are obtained by spraying thin even coats of paint. Let the layers dry in
between coats.
As with any manual process, practice leads to perfection. The following
are a few general rules that may be of help in perfecting your process.
• Use the lowest pressure setting recommended by the paint manufacturer
• Keep the gun perpendicular to the ground.
• Maintain a distance of about 8" from work as shown in figure 6
• Make smooth, thin and even strokes across the work
• Overlap each stroke by about 50% as in figure 7
• Let each coat dry before re-coating
