OPERATION
Proper handling of the spray gun will achieve the desired paint coating. The recommended paint viscosity
will vary according to the paint’s properties and the painting conditions like the temperature or humidity.
Read the paint instructions before spraying.
1. Ensure that the gun is between 6 and 8 in. from the workpiece. The needed distance will vary
depending on the atomization pressure and work demand.
2. Grip the gun firmly and keep it perpendicular to the surface of the workpiece at all times.
3. Move the gun in a straight horizontal line. Press the trigger after starting the movement and
release before ending the movement. This ensures an even coating.
ADJUSTMENT
Regulating the spray pattern, fluid output volume and fine atomization are done by adjusting the
correct knob.
1. Pattern adjustment knob (#34)
•
Turn clockwise: pattern is round
•
Turn anticlockwise: pattern is ellipse.
2. Fluid adjustment knob (#32)
•
Turn clockwise: decrease fluid output
•
Turn anticlockwise: increase fluid output
3. Regulating the air flow requires the addition of a regulator to the air line or spray gun.
MAINTENANCE
1. Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier to control and will have
fewer problems.
2. Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or worn components.
3. Follow instructions for lubricating.
4. Pour remaining paint into another container. Spray a small amount thinner to clean passage.
Incomplete cleaning will cause adverse pattern sharp and particles. Clean other sections with
the included brush or soft clothes soaked with thinner.
