OPERATION
TO REMOVE OIL
1.
Turn on the engine for five minutes to warm the oil. Turn off the engine and allow several
minutes for the oil to drain into the reservoir.
2.
Screw the siphon pump (2) onto the universal adapter (1). See figure 1.
3.
Insert the 4 in. tubing (4) into the universal adapter (1). See figure 2.
4.
Insert the 4 foot thin tubing (3) tightly into the 4 in. adapter tube (4) and then insert into the
universal adapter (1). See figure 3.
5.
Insert the universal adapter (1) tightly into the oil container (5). See figure 4.
6.
Insert the opposite end of the tubing into the dipstick or filler neck opening of the engine. The
tubing should be inserted deep enough to contact oil. See figure 5.
7.
Pump the handle 10 to 15 times to start siphoning.
NOTE: If the fluid rate slows, pump the handle to increase the flow.
8.
Do not fill the container (5) beyond the max fill line.
TO REMOVE GAS
WARNING! To avoid serious injury, do not use the included oil container (5) for the removal of
gasoline. Use an approved gasoline container only. Follow the safety instructions on the
gasoline container.
1.
Turn off the engine and allow it to cool.
2.
Screw the siphon pump (2) onto the universal adapter (1). See figure 1.
3.
Insert the 6 foot thick tubing (6) into the universal adapter (1). See figure 6.
