Variable 18dB Bass Boost Circuitry

The PowerBass XEX-23 takes the incoming audio signals and separates them into three distinct frequency 
ranges according to the frequency range of the speakers that are going to be amplified.  The low (bass) fre-
quencies are directed to the amplifier driving the subwoofer system, the mid/high frequencies to the amplifier 
driving the midrange and tweeters.  With all the signals outside the pre-selected range filtered out, each of 
these amplifiers can then devote their full power to the handling of less complex audio signals, resulting in 
cleaner and more accurate musical reproduction.
