Configuring the System via the HyperTerminal
NOTE:
There is no password protection while using the RS232 serial
communication port. Password protection is only applicable for
Telnet or WEB access.
Perform the following steps:

- Configure unit IP,

Ping Remote Host
– determine whether a particular IP system on a
network is functional. Used for diagnosing IP network or router
failures.
