Special Driving Conditions
If required for your operation, management can assign the special
driving condition categories like yard moves and/or personal
conveyance to your driver ID. You will see the special driving
categories allowed under your ID at login. You will also see allowed
special category status under the driver tab in ELD info.
To choose the special driving category ‘Yard Moves’ you must first be
in an ‘On Duty’ status.
Then:

on the bottom menu

Set Special Driving Conditions

Yard Move
5.
You will be prompted to enter a reason for the yard move. Then touch
OK
.
Once in Yard Moves, the driver will remain in that status until they either key the ignition off and back on,
changes duty status or he ends the status. To end the status, follow steps 1 through 3 above and touch
End
PC/YM
from the list.

Personal Conveyance
’, you must first be in an ‘Off Duty’ status.
Then:

You will be prompted to enter a reason for the yard move. Then touch
OK
.
To end personal conveyance, follow steps 1 through 3 above and touch
End PC/YM
from the list.
Note: ELDs will not automatically go into drive status until these statuses have been ended.
Assume Unidentified Records
If driving in a vehicle when not logged in, the driver will see a visual
warning on screen as well as an audible alert, letting them know
that a driver is not logged in to the system. If the vehicle is driven
above the ELD mandated drive initiation speed of 5 MPH without a
valid driver logged in, the driving detail is associated with the
‘Unassigned’ driver.
