Split Sleeper Use
The split sleeper rules allow drivers to combine two Sleeper Berth
events or Sleeper Berth and an Off Duty event within a period if the
Sleeper Berth record is at least 7 hours. If the LV9000 finds
compatible conditions, the driver will get the prompt asking if they
want to combine the two records. Touch Yes to combine them or No
to ignore the suggestion.
Motion lock screen
As soon as the vehicle begins moving, the LV9000 screen will show the Motion Lock screen. This screen
shows the active driver with their time in current duty status in green in the upper left corner. The drivers
available hours are also shown on the Motion Lock screen. As a
single driver logged in, you will not be able to enter any
information while the truck is in Motion Lock. When team driving
is logged in, a codriver will be able to unlock the screen and enter
data.
