1. Remove the knock-out plate from the back of the unit.
2. Do not remove the knock-out plate on top. If removed, a cover plate must be used.
3. Fit the ducting adaptor on the outlet.
4. Attach the ducting hose to the adaptor.

Vertical installation is the most common. If your kitchen has an attic space above, the ducting may be run up through
the cupboard and attic to a roof cap.
