Cold load PickUp
Cold load pickup is the phenomenon that takes place when a distribution circuit is reenergized following
an extended outage of that circuit. This is called Cold Load and Cold Load Pickup function is to prevent
and distinguish Cold Load from the real fault current.
Cold load mode, the fault detection, pickup level is changed by the times of Cold load Multiplier (1~10)
and this is in the instantaneous element. . If the transient current goes down and retains below the
pickup level within Cold Load Duration, then the normal sequence mode is restored. This setting phase
fault and earth fault detection function is applied to. Cold Load Multiplier set to ‘0’, the function is disable
to the Cold Load Pickup.
