Noise reduction information
Some noise pollution cannot be avoided with this
appliance. Perform any noisy work at a time suitable and
recommended for this type of work. Respect any period of
quiet and limit your work to a necessary time. Appropriate
ear protectors need to be used for your personal protection
and protection of persons near you.
General safety instructions for garden
appliances

Inappropriate following of safety instructions
and directives may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injuries.
Keep all safety instructions and directives for future
reference.
This appliance has not been designed to be used by
persons (including children) with limited psychic, sensory
and mental skills or insufficient experience and/or
knowledge, unless they work under the supervision of a
safety engineer and have received instructions from the
engineer on how to use the appliance.
Children must be supervised to make sure they do not play
with the appliance.
Training
1. Read the instructions carefully. Learn the control and
regulation equipment and appropriate use of the
appliance.
2. Never let children to use the appliance.
3. Never let persons not familiarised with these
instructions to use the appliance. Local provisions
may limit the age from and to which the appliance
may be used.
4. Never use the appliance when there are persons,
especially children or pets, around.
5. The operator or user will bear his own responsibility
for any accident or putting other persons or their
property at risk.
Preparation
1. Solid shoes and long trousers to be worn whenever
using the appliance.
2. Do not wear any loose clothing and jewels that could
get drawn in the suction inlet. Long hair should be
kept out of reach of suction inlets.
3. Wear protective glasses when working with the
appliance.
4. Face protection is recommended to be used to
prevent any irritation by dust.
5. Check the electric and extension cable for any
damage and wear before using the appliance. Never
use the appliance if the cable is damaged or worn.
6. Never put the appliance into operation if the dividing
protection equipment or protection shields are
damaged or if safety equipment, e.g. leaf collection
bag, is not fitted.
7. Watertight extension cables with a plug that is in
accordance with IEC 60320-2-3 to be used only.
Operation
1. Guide the cable from the appliance backwards.
2. If the cable gets damaged when used, disconnect it
from mains immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE
CABLE BEFORE IT IS DISCONNECTED FROM
MAINS.
3. Do not carry the appliance by the cable.
4. Unplug the appliance:
5. whenever being left unattended;
6. before removing any obstruction;
7. before any inspection, cleaning and working on the
appliance;
8. when the appliance starts vibrating too strong.
9. Appliance to be used in broad daylight or under good
artificial lighting only.
10. Do not incline too far and make sure not to lose your
balance.
11. Make always sure you have good stability when on
slope.
12. Walk, never run and compete when working.
13. Keep all cooling air inputs clean.
14. Never blow any dirt in direction where there are
persons.
15. Appliance to be used in an appropriate time only –
not too early in the morning or late at night as other
people could be disturbed.
16. Use a rake and broom to release any dirt before
blowing/sucking.
17. Dusty surfaces to be moistened slightly or a sprayer
to be used.
18. Use the entire extension tube of the blow nozzle to
enable the air flow to work closer to the ground.
Maintenance and storing
1. Check whether all nuts, pins and bolts are tightened
to provide safe appliance operation.
2. Check the collection bag more often for any wear or
quality reduction.
3. Replace any worn or damaged parts.
4. Original spare parts and accessory equipment to be
used only.
5. Keep the appliance in a dry place.
If the electric cable of the appliance is damaged, it must be
replaced with a special electric cable that can be obtained
from the manufacturer or its customer service centre.
Vibration reduction information
Pins and needles or insensitivity in hands are a sign of
excessive vibrations. Limit the time of use, take long
enough breaks, divide the work to more persons or wear
anti-vibration protective gloves when using the appliance
for a long time.
Other safety instructions for the leaf vacuum
Recommendations:
The appliance may only be used in a
network protected by a safety switch against stray current
(RCD) with a maximum starting current of 30 mA for
electric appliances.

It is necessary to prevent the appliance from being
used under poor weather conditions, in particular,
when there is a risk of lightning.

The appliance is only suitable for private purposes. It
must not be used in public orchards, parks, sports
facilities, green belts and in agriculture and forestry.

The appliance needs to be used with as low
revolutions as possible.
Residual risks
Even if the appliance is used professionally, there is still
some risk that cannot be avoided.
The following potential risks may be derived from the type
and design of the appliance:

not used
