Operation:

These compact bench power supplies incorporate the latest switchmode technology and

delivers regulated output between 9 and 15V

. Maximum current for M 8261 is 20A, whilst the

M
8263 delivers 30A.  Includes combination volt and amp meter

. V
oltage output is adjusted via

the front panel control. Binding posts are provided for load connection. Fitted with cooling fan.

2.

Noise off-set control:

adjust this to eliminate the pulse noise of the switching power

supply

This function is designed for communications equipment.

3.

V

oltage adjustment:

adjusts voltage between 9.0 and 15.0 volts.

T

u

rn clockwise to

increase and counter clockwise to decrease the voltage.

At the centre position, voltage will

be 13.8.

4.

Meter:

displays the voltage or current.

5.

Output control switch:

set this switch to the “adjust” setting for variable output voltage.

When set to “13.8” output will be fixed at 13.8V

.

6.

Meter switch:

select the position to indicate voltage (V) or current (A).

7.

Meter calibration:

adjust the meter to the zero position.

8.

Output terminal:

red positive (+) and black negative (-)

. Fuse:

remove fuse cover

. Always replace with M 205 (20x5mm) slow blow (time delay)

type fuse.

Cautions:

Place unit in a dry and well ventilated area.

If a short circuit occurs whilst in use, the unit will be protected by a short circuit

protection function. T

u

rn the unit off, remove the cause of the short circuit and

switch power supply back on.

D

o not use the unit for devices that require high current input for start up, such as

motorised equipment.

D

o not use the unit to charge a car battery
