Setting Prerecord
You can catch the first three seconds of action
you would have potentially missed. Once
enabled the camera starts recording video
automatically before you press the Movie
button. As soon as the Movie button is hit, the
most recent three seconds of video are added
to the beginning of the clip.
The icon is shown in red while the Prerecord
button is
on.
Prerecord will be cancelled in the following situation:
•
After recording starts.
•
Switch to Playback mode.
•
Launch the Menu.
•
Enter USB mode.
•
Power off the camera.
Prerecord function will be disabled in the following situations:
•
The prerecord time is less than 2 seconds.
•
There is not enough internal memory to enable this function unless
an additional memory card is inserted to the camera.
