Malfunctions
WARNING
Operation of a damaged or malfunctioning tool
can result in serious or even fatal injuries.
Always disconnect the tool immediately
from the compressed air supply in the
event of a malfunction (see page 40).
Empty the magazine (see page 41).
Use the tool again only when the
malfunction has been remedied.
CAUTION
The tool may be damaged in the event of repairs by unauthorised
persons.
Ensure that repairs to the tool are only carried out by the
manufacturer.
Remove jammed fasteners
The tool has a removable cover plate on the tool nose. Jammed or
deformed fasteners can be removed from the tool nose via this
cover.
To remove a jammed fastener, proceed as follows:
Disconnect the tool from the compressed air supply
(see page 40).
Empty the magazine (see page 41).
Loosen and remove the round-head screws of the cover plate
using the Allen key contained in the scope of supply.
Remove the cover plate (see pages 10 and 11 No. 8) from the
tool.
Remove the jammed or deformed fastener.
Attach the cover plate again with the round-head screws.
Fill the magazine as described from page 26.
