Avoiding the risk of explosion
Never operate the compressor with a defective safety valve.
Do not expose the compressor to temperatures over 100 °C.
Do not use the compressor in areas exposed to explosion hazards.
Make sure no combustible, corrosive or toxic gases are drawn in.
Do not fill damaged compressed-air cylinders.
If the pressure in the compressed-air cylinder exceeds the max. permissible pressure (see Technical specifi-
cations from p. 8 onwards) without the compressor switching off:
Switch off the compressor.
Pull the mains power plug to prevent unintentional restarting.
Allow the pressure to discharge from the compressed-air cylinder.
Avoiding the risk of fire
Never work with the compressor in the proximity of naked flames.
Do not introduce flammable objects or materials into the surrounding area of the compressor.
Make sure no combustible, corrosive or toxic gases are drawn in.
Avoiding damage to the compressor
Do not operate the compressor without the air filter.
Do not strike the operating and display elements with metal or pointed objects. These could break during
operation.
Never open the compressor housing. Always have all repair work carried out by qualified specialists.
Do not use the compressor if it is damaged. Have it inspected by qualified PREBENA staff before putting
it into use again.
Make sure no combustible, corrosive or toxic gases are drawn in.
Switch off the compressor before pulling the mains power plug.
Check that the system voltage and the details on the rating plate are identical.
Never open the compressor housing. Always have all repair work carried out by qualified PREBENA
staff.
