Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery contains:
Compressor
Operating instructions
EC Declaration of Conformity
Method of functioning
The compressor is an electrical belt-driven, oil-lubricated high-pressure piston compressor with three pres-
sure stages and serves to generate compressed air in the high-pressure range up to 300 bar. The setting
pressure at the final pressure safety valve is 330 bar. Excess pressure is discharged via the safety valves.
The generated compressed air serves to fill the compressed-air cylinders KT-3500, KT-1000 (by means of
adapter), KT-300, KT-470, KT-690 and KT-
900 (by means of filling hose). In its function as a “normal” com-
pressor compressed-air devices can be operated up to 10 bar. The filled KT-3500 cylinders serve as com-
pressed-air storage reservoirs and provide for a corresponding volume.
Product features of the compressor
The compressors have the following features:
Generation of compressed air in the high-pressure
range up to 300 bar
Safety valves
Automatic stop by means of pressure switch
Automatic restart in event of pressure drop below
150 bar
Connection to 230 V~
Total weight 67 kg
Handles for carrying
Solid rubber wheels
Handle for pulling
Belt drive
Motor protecting switch
Filling of one or two PREBENA compressed-air cyl-
inders
Safety devices
ON/OFF switch
The compressor has an ON/OFF switch; this can also be
used as an
emergency STOP
.
Switch I: ON (1)
Switch 0: OFF (2)
Safety valves
All three pressure stages of the compressor and the filling
strip and the removal strip are protected by safety valves.
The safety valve responds when the permissible maximum
pressure in the respective pressure stage is exceeded by
10 %.
Motor protecting switch
The compressor is fitted as standard with an internal motor protecting switch. In the event of faults (e.g.:
overheating or similar) the motor protection features responds and interrupts the power supply. In this event,
proceed as described in the overview of faults on page 25 under Point C.
