Compressor transportation and storage
Packing
Pack the compressor in its original cardboard box prior to storage or transporting over longer distances:
Transporting
The type of transport differs according to whether you are transporting the compressor over short or long dis-
tances.
Transport over short distances
Short distances are distances of no more than 10 metres.
Proceed as described on page 17
“After operation”.
Pulling the compressor by the retaining bar (2) behind you to the new site of use.
To do so, proceed as follows:
Swing the bar (2) upwards until it is in a horizontal position.

The compressor is now ready to be transported over short distances.
Transport over long distances
The following distances for
transporting the compressor are regarded as “long distances”:
Distances covered by transportation in a vehicle.
The compressor may only be transported over long distances in its original cardboard box.
To transport the compressor over long distances, proceed as follows:
Proceed as described on page 17
“After operation”.
Pack the compressor in the original cardboard box supplied.
Only set down the original cardboard box so that it is upright with the lid facing upwards.
Storage
Apply a thin coating of PREBENA special oil to all metal parts of the compressor.
Pack the compressor in its original cardboard box.
Store the compressor at room temperature in a dry place protected from dust.
ATTENTION!
Impacts and knocks can result in damage to the compressor.
Do not drop the compressor.
Protect the compressor from knocking against obstacles.
Hold the compressor firmly by the handle when pulling so that it does not tip over towards the rear.
