Compressor preparation
Unpacking the compressor
Two persons are required to unpack the compressor.
Place the packaging upright before opening it.
Open the lid of the packaging.
Working as a pair, carefully lift the compressor out of the packaging
using by the handles and set it down in an upright position.
Remove all packaging materials from the compressor.
WARNING
There is a risk of suffocation for children playing with packaging films.
Do not allow children to play with packaging films.
Keep packaging materials out of the reach of children.
Save the packaging materials.
Checking the condition
WARNING
Risk of injury when operating a damaged compressor.
Check the condition of the compressor before each use.
Make sure the compressor is in perfect condition.
Check the following points in particular:
Are the safety valves free from damage?
Is the oil level sufficient?
Is the electrical connection free from damage?
Are the pressure and cooling lines free from damage?
Scratches on the housing paint do not constitute damage.
Do not connect a damaged compressor to the power supply.
Have a damaged compressor repaired by qualified PREBENA staff before putting it into operation.
CAUTION
Damaged pressure and cooling lines can burst and cause injury.
Check the pressure and cooling lines for damage before connecting them.
