Oil change
An oil change should be carried out while the compressor is warm. The oil reservoir will then drain
quickly and fully.
CAUTION
Risk of burning by hot oil
Wear suitable safety gloves.
ATTENTION!
There is a risk of environmental pollution if the lubricating oil is spilled.
Absorb spilled oil with a binding agent.
Wipe up absorbed oil with a cloth.
Dispose of the cloth in accordance with the statutory regulations in force at the site of use.
Place a drip tray underneath the compressor.
Remove the oil dipstick (1).
Unscrew the oil drain plug (2) to let the used oil escape.
Allow the used oil to drain completely out of the compressor unit.
Check that the seal on the oil drain plug (2) is undamaged.
Screw the oil drain plug (2) back in.
Pour new oil through a suitable funnel into the oil dipstick opening.
Check the oil level at the oil dipstick (1).
ATTENTION!
The compressor could be damaged if unsuitable, contaminated or mixed lubricants are used.
Use only Prebena engine oil Z 200.40
Never use unsuitable or contaminated lubricating oil.
Do not mix different types of oil together.
Dispose of used lubricating oils in an environmentally friendly manner.
