CAUTION
: Take your time and be careful when reconnecting the MC cable con-
nectors. Many of the connector contacts are small and can be easily damaged if
incorrectly inserted into the MC I/O connector.
3. Secure the MC by sliding the right side base flange under the two right side pre-
installed loosened fasteners. Then install the two left side fasteners. Fully tighten all
four bolts using a 1/2" socket with 6" extension, see
"Motor Controller (MC) Replace-
.
4. Route the "MOTOR" power and "MTH" motor thermal switch cables and secure to the
frame using the frame mounted cable clamps. Two places for the "MOTOR" power
cable and three places for the "MTH" motor thermal switch cable. Recheck all MC I/O
cable connections. Make sure that the cables have freedom of movement and are
clear of any frame or component edges that could pinch, chafe, or damage the cable
wires.
5. Install the drive belt onto the drive motor and drive roller pulleys. Make sure the belt is
properly aligned, see
"Drive Belt Replacement" on page 125
